Goizueta’s STEM-credentialed Master of Science in Business Analytics is a 10-month immersive program that combines elements of business, data, and technology.  The goal of the program is to create a business data scientist with an emphasis on advanced Machine Learning techniques, statistical models, cloud computing and data visualization in order to answer business questions.  Students work on real big data problems from firms such as FedEx, The Home Depot, Caesar’s Entertainment, SunTrust and others wherein they abstract business questions to data problems and convert data solutions to business answers.  The program is also unique its emphasis on people analytics with a full course on Social Network Analytics and an elective in Human Resources Analytics.  As a tools-agnostic program, students solve problems using a variety of languages/technologies including R, Python, Tableau, Amazon Web Services, Hadoop, Pig, Spark & Hive.
